Maize BELKORN 250 MV

The hybrid corn Belkorn 250 MV is a complex four-line mid-early hybrid intended for cultivation in the Central, Central Chernozem, and Middle Volga regions. The plant has medium height reaching up to 260 cm, with ears of medium length up to 22 cm and intermediate grain, the upper part of which has a yellow color. The 1000-grain weight is 280-300 g, contributing to high yield. The average grain yield in the Central Chernozem region reaches 61.8 centners per hectare, matching standard levels.

Belkorn 250 MV exhibits resistance to southern helminthosporium and moderate resistance to bacterial disease, ear fusarium, and common rust. However, the hybrid is highly susceptible to corn borer, requiring attention during crop protection. The plant has weak anthocyanic silk coloration, and the main ear axis is positioned above the upper lateral branch.

This hybrid is suitable for both grain and silage production. It responds well to optimal nitrogen nutrition, recommended up to 90 kg of active ingredient per hectare, which promotes increased productivity and quality of the harvest. Belkorn 250 MV is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve a stable and high corn yield in the specified regions.
