Premium Popcorn Hybrid: V 9327 ZXXX Z by Monsanto

The V 9327 ZXXX Z hybrid from Monsanto is a specialized agricultural solution tailored for the popcorn production market and culinary consumption. Moving beyond the standard commodity corn used for feed, this variety is engineered with specific physical properties essential for optimal popping expansion and texture.

Key Advantages

• Superior Grain Quality: The deep yellow-orange kernels possess an ideal pericarp density, which is crucial for achieving high expansion volume and uniformity during the popping process.
• Culinary Versatility: While primarily valued for popcorn, this variety also performs exceptionally well for boiled corn applications, offering excellent taste and texture profiles.
• Proven Monsanto Genetics: As a mid-to-late maturity hybrid, it benefits from Monsanto’s extensive research, ensuring consistent performance, environmental adaptability, and high yield potential under appropriate management practices.

Growing and Market Considerations

Given its specialized nature, the V 9327 ZXXX Z requires dedicated attention to field isolation to maintain genetic purity and grain quality standards. It is an optimal choice for producers targeting the value-added food processing sector rather than the bulk commodity market. Because of its mid-to-late maturity, the hybrid thrives in regions with longer growing seasons, providing farmers with a reliable opportunity to meet the high demand for quality popcorn and gourmet corn products.
