Antiy — an early-maturing hybrid of sweet corn, intended for fresh market cultivation. The maturity period is approximately 70-75 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plant is grown in open ground and exhibits resistance to diseases such as cladosporiosis, corn rust, and stunting virus. The ears are 16 to 24 cm long, covered with bright yellow kernels arranged in 18-20 rows, ensuring high quality and an attractive appearance. The kernels of Antiy corn have high sugar content, making them especially tasty and juicy. The ears have a slight conical shape and are suitable for various uses: they can be canned, frozen, or used in boiled form. The hybrid shows good drought and cold tolerance, as well as relatively good resistance to lodging. Additionally, the variety does not accumulate nitrates, guaranteeing the product’s safety and ecological purity. For successful cultivation of Antiy corn, seeds should be sown when soil temperature reaches 12-15 degrees Celsius, at a depth of about 5 cm, with a seeding rate of 3-5 g per square meter. The plant is of medium height, warm-loving, but also sufficiently adaptable, making it suitable for various climatic conditions. Thanks to its taste qualities and versatility, this hybrid is an excellent choice for both farmers and home growers.
