Anniversary 60 MV is a medium-early three-line hybrid corn (Zea mays L.) included in the State Register of Selection Achievements for the North Caucasus region. It is characterized by medium plant height and medium ear length. The tassel feature is a medium angle between the main axis and side branches, which are curved and present in small quantity. The kernel is cream-colored with a yellow upper part, and the intensity of anthocyanin coloration of the ear core is strong. The average grain yield is 57.0 centners per hectare, which meets regional standards, and the normalized dry matter yield is 103.6 centners per hectare.
The hybrid is resistant to stalk rot and bubble head, affected by them only slightly, while bacterial and Fusarium ear diseases manifest moderately. Due to these characteristics, Anniversary 60 MV is suitable for cultivation in the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions. Selection and breeding rights belong to the agricultural production cooperative 'Kazyminsky Kolhoz-Plemzavod'.
For successful cultivation, select sunny areas with fertile soils without water stagnation. Sowing is carried out at a temperature not lower than +12 degrees, seed burial depth up to 5 cm, row spacing around 60-70 cm, and plant spacing within rows 25-30 cm. Thinning is performed at the 3-leaf stage, leaving 2 plants per hole. Regular watering, loosening, and complex fertilizer applications are essential for forming a high-quality yield.
