Maize Alibi

Premium Silage Corn for Efficient Livestock Feeding

When the priority is maximizing energy output from forage, the "Alibi" hybrid from Bc Institut d.d. stands out as a reliable choice for professional farmers. Designed specifically for silage production, this simple hybrid focuses on converting biomass into high-quality animal feed.

Key Features for Farm Success

• Energy-Dense Silage: With a starch content of 74%, "Alibi" provides the energy required for high-performing dairy and beef cattle. This helps in balancing rations and potentially reducing reliance on costly energy supplements.
• Flint Grain Type: The kernel structure is optimized for silage, ensuring excellent digestibility and nutrient availability after fermentation.
• Proven Silage Specialization: Unlike grain-only hybrids, "Alibi" is bred to balance biomass volume with high-quality grain development, ensuring the best nutritional profile for silage bunkers.

Practical Field Application

Farmers select "Alibi" because it offers a predictable growth cycle and consistent performance under standard agronomic practices. In the field, it develops robust vegetation that is easy to harvest and packs well in storage, facilitating optimal fermentation conditions. By focusing on "Alibi," agricultural managers can ensure a stable supply of high-starch forage throughout the winter season. It is a strategic tool for farms aiming to improve feed efficiency and overall livestock health through superior crop genetics provided by Bc Institut d.d.
