The AEG 270 corn hybrid is a mid-early maturing variety with high yield potential, reaching 11.2-14.0 tons per hectare under production conditions. This hybrid is characterized by intensive growth, where the grain matures on green stalks and leaves, which helps preserve quality and reduce losses during harvest. The seeds are treated with fungicides and insecticides, providing additional protection against diseases and pests.

AEG 270 exhibits high plasticity and adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions. It adapts well to nutrient levels in the soil, soil type, and rainfall amount, making it an optimal choice for late planting. The hybrid demonstrates excellent stress tolerance: drought resistance and general stress tolerance are rated at 8 points, resistance to lodging and low temperatures — at 9 points, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions.

The recommended planting density at harvest is 65-70 thousand plants per hectare. Thanks to its large and thick seedlings with deeply planted seeds, the hybrid can develop two seedlings per stalk when plant density is insufficient, contributing to increased yield. AEG 270 is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including western, central, north-eastern, and southern areas, expanding its application potential in agriculture.
