Maize 4 NS

Stability and Potential: Working with "4 NS" Hybrid

When selecting corn for large-scale grain production or high-quality silage, Serbian breeding from Institut Za Ratarstvo I Povrtarstvo consistently holds a top position in our regions. The "4 NS" hybrid is the go-to choice for those who value proven genetics and want predictable results across their fields.

Agronomic Characteristics and Field Management

Working with this hybrid requires an understanding of its biological cycle. "4 NS" is a late-maturing variety, meaning the plant effectively utilizes the entire growing season to accumulate substantial biomass and grain potential. In intensive farming systems, this hybrid thrives, showing excellent response to proper field management.

• Use Case: Versatile. High green mass yield allows for the production of premium cattle feed.
• Grain Quality: The yellow dent-type grain offers high threshing efficiency. With correctly adjusted combine settings, harvesting losses are minimal, as the ear releases grain cleanly.
• Planting Density: This reduces plant competition and maximizes ear filling.

Operational Insights for Owners

Being a late-maturing hybrid, it is crucial to coordinate machinery logistics well in advance to hit the optimal grain moisture window. The plant is robust with a strong stalk, which facilitates mechanical harvesting and minimizes lodging risks during adverse autumn weather.

Sourcing original seeds from Inozemne Pidpryiemstvo "NS SEME-UKRAINA" provides full confidence in the hybrid's genetic purity and performance.
