GOLDEN TRAIL COREOPSIS

Coreopsis "Golden Trail" is a low-growing perennial plant with a compact bush, reaching a height of 25 to 40 cm and a width of 25–35 cm. Its large golden spherical flowers, up to 5 cm in diameter, create a bright decorative impression, while the lush double foliage gives the plant fullness.

The plant is highly resistant to drought and heat but cannot tolerate waterlogging. It requires sunny exposure and can grow in open ground with minimal care. Thanks to its decorative qualities and ability to attract pollinating insects, it becomes a valuable element of the garden ecosystem.

Coreopsis blooms from mid-June to early autumn, with the flowering period coinciding with other summer perennials such as echinacea, sneezeweed, and cranesbill. After flowering, it is recommended to cut back the flower stalks by one-third to maintain the bush's shape. The plant is easily propagated by dividing the bush or seeds and does not require fertile soil, but grows best in dry and sunny places. To create a harmonious composition, it can be placed in groups with a distance of about 30 cm between bushes.
