Clover TOMSK LOCAL

Genetic Adaptability and Regeneration Rates

The 'Tomsky Mestny' white clover variety, developed by the Siberian Federal Scientific Center of Agro-Biotechnologies RAS, is a specialized solution for regions with short vegetation periods. The core value of this plant material lies in its rapid vegetative recovery rate following mechanical harvesting or cattle grazing.

Technical Usage Parameters

• Pasture Performance: High leaf density ensures superior nutritional quality of green mass, with a growth structure optimized for intensive pasture rotation systems.
• Turf Application: The low-growing habit, combined with an aggressive spreading pattern, facilitates the formation of a dense turf layer that effectively outcompetes weed encroachment.

The breeder’s scientific oversight ensures consistent morphological traits. Unlike imported alternatives, 'Tomsky Mestny' exhibits profound resilience to harsh climatic conditions, which is critical for maintaining sward viability during winter and preventing frost heaving during rapid temperature fluctuations.
