GLORIA – a mid-season, high-yielding endive (Cichorium endivia L.) variety intended for cultivation in garden and vegetable plot conditions to produce crops throughout the autumn season with the possibility of storage during the autumn-winter period. The variety is characterized by light-green rosettes of leaves with a yellow center, which give dishes a bright visual effect.
The time from sowing to technical maturity is 110–120 days, which makes it convenient for planning multiple plantings throughout the year – from early spring to August. Sowing is carried out at a depth of 1.5–2 cm, and the crop is distinguished by good cold hardiness, allowing to preserve the harvest even at low temperatures.
GLORIA is widely used in cooking: leaves are suitable for fresh salads, garnishing dishes, and adding a crunchy texture. Due to the high content of vitamins and minerals, this variety is valued both by professional chefs and lovers of healthy eating.
