Chrysanthemum GIFT FOR UFA RESIDENTS

Genetic Potential and Morphology

The 'Podarok Ufimtsam' variety is a product of the breeding program at the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The development of this hybrid prioritized climatic adaptability and the formation of a large, aesthetically balanced inflorescence. The plant's morphology is defined by a bush-type habit, which ensures dense branching and an even distribution of flower stalks—a critical factor for high-quality cut flower production.

Technical Specifications of the Peduncle

• Plant Type: Bush-type, with high shoot growth vigor.
• Inflorescence Parameters: Large-flowered variety, with a flower head diameter consistently exceeding 10 cm.
• Coloration: Pure white, maintaining brightness throughout the entire flowering period without a tendency for petal yellowing.

The technical value of this variety lies in the synergy between stalk strength and flower size. A large bud requires a resilient stem capable of supporting the weight of the inflorescence in an upright position without bending or snapping under external stress. This makes the variety technologically efficient for cutting and convenient for transportation.

Practical Application

The use of 'Podarok Ufimtsam' is justified in two segments. Firstly, for professional cut flower production: due to the high petal density, the bud retains its commercial quality in a vase for an extended period. Secondly, in ornamental gardening: the variety forms a stable bush that becomes a landscape focal point during peak flowering. Choosing this variety developed by the Ufa Federal Research Center ensures predictable results when following standard agrotechnical practices for large-flowered chrysanthemums.
