This large-bulb variety was bred from a local sample from the Novosibirsk region and is characterized by high winter hardiness and frost resistance, which ensures a stable yield regardless of weather conditions. The average weight of a garlic bulb is about 80-100 grams, and the number of cloves varies from 4 to 10 depending on the caliber, while the bulb diameter reaches approximately 4 cm. The recommended planting depth is 8 cm, and the optimal planting time is autumn, from October to November.

The ACADEMIC garlic bulb is flat-round, dense, with 4-6 cloves of simple structure that fit tightly together. The covering scales have a pink-cream color with purple stripes, while the leather scales are purple. The garlic flesh is creamy, with a semi-spicy taste and a pronounced aroma, making this variety especially attractive for culinary use.

This garlic variety is excellent for pickling and marinating, adding piquancy and a rich aroma to dishes.
