This variety was selected at the Stavropol Experimental Station for Horticulture. Obtained by crossing the varieties Denisena Yellow and Zhabule. Breeders: A.I. Seredenko and V.V. Starikh. Approved for the North Caucasus region in 2000.
Medium-sized tree. Broad-pyramidal crown, raised, medium density. Scaffolding branches of medium growth vigor, thick, branch at an angle of 50°, moderate branching capacity. Leaves large, narrowly-ovate, green, smooth, matte, leaf margin doubly-tipped. Flower large, white petals. Mixed fruiting type. The main number of flowering branches are located on 2-6 year-old wood. Most productive flowering branches are aged 2-5 years.
Fruit medium-early ripening (June 25-28), large — 8 g, one-dimensional, broad-heart-shaped. Stomach seam small, barely noticeable, does not crack. Skin medium, with strong waxy coating, easily removed from fruit. Pit small, wide. Fruit apex rounded, slightly elongated. Main fruit color yellow with pink-red blush covering 3/4 of the fruit surface. Flesh light-yellow with creamy tint, medium density, semi-fibrous, juicy, slightly acidic-sweet with sugar predominance, excellent flavor. Juice colorless. Stone semi-detachable, medium. Peduncle medium, ease of detachment from branch good, dry detachment. Fruit contains 15.9% dry matter, 13.9% sugars, 0.62% acids. Good transportability, versatile use.
Flowers in medium time, self-fertile, best pollinators: Dibera Black, Franz Joseph, Etokskaya Krasavitsa. Early fruiting variety. Enters fruiting stage on 3-4 year after planting. High yield — 35-40 kg per tree at 8 years old. High flower bud and tree cold resistance. Fruit relatively resistant to coccomycosis and cracking in rainy weather. Crown formation according to improved tiered spacing. Variety requires light, warmth, moisture, and soil. Responsive to fertilization and rejuvenating pruning. Requires disease and pest control measures.
Advantages of the variety: early fruiting, high-yielding, medium growth vigor trees, large fruits with very good taste, commercial, and technological qualities, versatile use, resistant to coccomycosis and cracking in rainy weather.
Disadvantages: self-incompatibility, requires planting of pollinator varieties for normal fruiting, and insufficient suitability for mechanized harvesting.
