Celery EDWARD

Reliable root celery yields within a standard timeframe

For agricultural producers focusing on the fresh produce market and long-term storage, the "Edward" hybrid from "Agro-Best" LLC represents a strategic choice. This root celery combines uniform produce size with predictable vegetation periods, which is vital for efficient harvesting schedule planning.

Growing practices and agrotechnology

The 120–140 day maturity period allows for seamless integration into crop rotation cycles. Experience shows that "Edward" responds exceptionally well to intensive irrigation and precision fertilization during the root development stage. Agronomists highlight several operational advantages:

• Root formation: The hybrid maintains a compact leaf rosette, facilitating inter-row cultivation and reducing the risk of fungal diseases due to improved soil aeration.
• Harvesting: Due to the smooth surface of the root, cleaning the soil mechanically or manually is faster, and the commercial appearance is preserved even after long-distance transportation.
• Storage: "Edward" demonstrates high resistance to rot during storage in specialized vegetable facilities, allowing farmers to sell their produce during peak market prices.

When to choose "Edward"?

This hybrid from "Agro-Best" is ideal for farms supplying retail chains, where strict standards for caliber, shape, and cleanliness are required. It is also highly suitable for processing facilities: dense flesh without cavities ensures a high yield of final product during slicing and dehydration.
