Description News F1
Carrot News F1 is a mid-early hybrid of the Nantes group, distinguished by its high adaptability to various growing conditions and soil types, including heavy and chernozem soils. The roots have a conical or cylindrical shape, smooth surface, and deep orange color both inside and out. The average root length ranges from 18 to 24 cm, with a diameter of about 6 cm, and the core is almost absent, ensuring excellent taste. Root weight ranges from 80 to 200 grams, making them suitable for various uses.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield and versatility, ideal for early harvest and fresh market sales, as well as for long-term storage. Sowing is conducted from March to July, with row spacing of 25 cm and intra-row spacing of 5 cm. The maturation period ranges from 95 to 118 days, depending on growing conditions. When sown later, for example at the end of July, the roots retain market appearance and storability until April-May of the following year. Carrot News F1 is resistant to leaf diseases such as Alternaria and powdery mildew, which helps maintain plant health and crop quality.

The hybrid’s roots are suitable for mechanical harvesting, as they do not break, simplifying the harvesting process and reducing losses. Due to their smooth surface and uniform shape, News F1 carrots are recommended for direct field sales, juice production, slicing, washing, and storage. The lush dark green foliage not only enhances the plant’s aesthetic appeal but also indicates its resilience to adverse conditions, making this hybrid an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners seeking a high-quality and consistent yield.
