Venosa

Cabbage Venosa F1 is a mid-season hybrid from the Dutch breeding company Rijk Zwaan, designed for cultivation in various climatic conditions in Ukraine, including the hottest regions. The vegetation period ranges from 70 to 85 days after transplanting seedlings, allowing this hybrid to be used for both summer and autumn cultivation. Plants exhibit strong growth, robust leaf mass with vertically arranged leaves, and self-shading ability, which protects flower heads and helps maintain their quality.

The heads of Venosa F1 cabbage form round, dense, and heavy, weighing from 1.5 to 2.5 kg, with snow-white coloration and no tendency to anthocyanin pigmentation. The hybrid is resistant to stress conditions, including high temperatures and water deficiency, as well as to pathogens. Under extreme heat, the cabbage does not develop fuzziness, which positively affects the market appearance and taste of the fruits.

This hybrid features a stable development cycle and uniform ripening, allowing for the collection of the main harvest in two stages.
