Cabbage KAID

French Precision in Cabbage Breeding

The Kaid hybrid by Clause has earned a solid reputation among growers who prioritize consistency and storability. Emerging from the French school of plant breeding, this white cabbage variety is engineered for high performance in professional farming environments, where predictability and harvest uniformity are paramount.

Agrotechnical Profile and Market Positioning

Kaid is highly valued as a versatile hybrid, bridging the gap between fresh market demand and long-term storage requirements. Unlike many varieties that lose quality after months in cold storage, Kaid maintains its density, texture, and overall marketability, making it an excellent choice for growers supplying the retail sector throughout the winter and spring seasons.

• Cabbage type: White cabbage with strong field resistance.
• Head shape: Round-flat, designed for efficient logistics and optimal storage density.
• Head weight: Ranging from 1.0 to 2.0 kg, hitting the ideal weight for consumer-ready packaging.
• Versatility: Equally suitable for immediate fresh sales and long-term storage.

By leveraging the genetic expertise of Clause, Kaid provides a reliable outcome for farmers. The uniformity of the heads significantly reduces manual labor during harvest and sorting processes. For those looking to optimize their crop cycle, Kaid offers a dependable solution that combines modern storage requirements with the high-quality standards expected from European hybrid seeds.
