Benefis

Benefis — a mid-early hybrid of red cabbage, with a maturation period ranging from 105 to 125 days. Plants are powerful, well-leafed, with outer leaves covered by a strong waxy coating. Heads have a round shape, are densely formed, with inner leaves of purple color. Head weight varies from 1.5 to 2.6 kg, ensuring a high commercial appearance and excellent transportability of the product.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield — from 8.0 to 9.0 kg per square meter at a planting density of 4-5 plants per m². Plant maturation occurs simultaneously, which facilitates harvest collection. Benefis cabbage possesses excellent taste qualities, making it universal for consumption fresh, as well as for pickling and use in vegetable mixes.

A feature of the hybrid is its genetic resistance to fusarium wilt, as well as high resistance to many diseases and temperature stresses. Heads are characterized by excellent storage quality, allowing the product's quality and freshness to be maintained for a long time after harvest.
