Arcticus

Arcticus F1 — a hybrid of white cabbage, developed by the Dutch company Sakata, distinguished by high resistance to various climatic conditions. This variety withstands both cold and heat exceptionally well, thanks to its strong root system, making it suitable for cultivation in diverse regions. The heads are round and light green, weighing between 2.5 to 5 kilograms depending on planting density. The maturation period is approximately 97-140 days, allowing the cabbage to be used for fresh consumption or pickling.

The hybrid Arcticus F1 has excellent taste and attractive appearance, ensuring steady market demand. The cabbage features a short stem, is not prone to fusarium, flowering, or cracking, which significantly simplifies care and improves crop quality. Due to its adaptability, the variety is suitable for cultivation via seedlings, direct sowing in open ground, or under cover. The recommended planting density is 35 to 45 thousand plants per hectare.

One of the key advantages of Arcticus F1 is its long storage capability — up to 7-8 months — while retaining its aesthetic and flavor qualities.
