Bean PLADOR

Plador is an early variety of asparagus bean known for its high productivity and versatility. The plant is a vine, reaching up to 3 meters in height, with dark green leaves and small purple flowers. The pods are straight, 16–18 cm long, light yellow or light purple in color, with even intense coloring, no parchment layer, and no fibers, ensuring excellent taste and ease of preparation. Up to 25 pods form on one plant, providing high yield potential and stable fruiting. Seeds are kidney-shaped, gray with brown streaks, weighing 510 g per 1000 pieces. The Plador variety is intended for cultivation both in open ground and under film coverings with tying, allowing a yield of up to 3 kg per square meter. Due to its plasticity and adaptability, the bean develops well under various agro-climatic conditions. Plants are resistant to anthracnose and bean common mosaic virus, contributing to stable and high-quality harvests. The recommended planting density is 300–350 thousand plants per hectare, optimizing growth and fruiting. Plador is widely used in the food industry and home cooking. Pods are suitable for consumption at the milk ripeness stage, as well as for freezing and processing. At full bean ripeness, beans can be used separately. Thanks to its delicate color and excellent taste qualities, the bean is in demand in the fresh produce market. The variety is characterized by synchronous ripening and the possibility of short-term storage, making it convenient for marketing and consumption.
