PHYSICULTURITSA

Physiculturitsa — medium-late variety of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), intended for cultivation in various zones, including the Omsk region. The plant is bush-type, determinate, of medium height of about 45-50 cm, with the height of attachment of lower pods of about 17 cm, which facilitates mechanized harvesting. Seeds of the variety have a gray color with brown secondary coloration and differ in mass of 1000 seeds within the range of 330-340 g. High yield of the variety under conditions of the Omsk region reaches 28.8-36 c/ha, which confirms its good adaptation and productivity. One of the main features of the Physiculturitsa variety is the high protein content in the grain — from 22.3 to 23.7%, which makes it a valuable source of plant protein with essential amino acids. Grains have good cookability and are not prone to cracking, which improves their culinary qualities and convenience of use in the food industry and home cooking. The variety is also distinguished by resistance to lodging and anthracnose disease, which increases crop stability and reduces loss risks during cultivation. Physiculturitsa is one of the recommended varieties for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Priobska zone of the Altai Territory, where it demonstrates high biological potential and stable yield. Due to its agronomic characteristics and grain quality, this bean variety is widely demanded both in agriculture and in the food industry. Its cultivation contributes to obtaining a quality and nutritious product that is easily digested by the human body and can be used for various culinary purposes.
