TABLE BASIL

The 'Table' basil variety is a mid-season plant with a strong, penetrating aroma and large glossy leaves. The plant is upright and compact, reaching a height of about 60 cm. The leaves are large, broadly egg-shaped with serrated edges, light green in color, with a tender and juicy texture. The plant mass ranges from 120 to 140 grams, ensuring a good yield of greens.

The period from full germination to the beginning of flowering is 65-75 days. Basil is heat-loving, so it is planted in open ground after the threat of frost has passed. It is recommended to place plants in sunny areas protected from cold winds, with fertile, well-drained, and organic-rich soil. When sowing seeds for seedlings, they are slightly covered with soil; seedlings appear within 10-12 days at an optimal temperature of 22-25°C.

The 'Table' variety is distinguished by high yield and disease resistance. It is widely used fresh as salad greens and a flavoring additive, as well as dried and in canning. Thanks to its bright and original aroma, basil is suitable for home cooking, including the preparation of piquant desserts and confectionery products, which makes it popular among fans of aromatic herbs.
