Karat

Karat is a mid-season universal sweet potato variety with round tubers covered in a white fine network and shallow eyes. The pulp is yellow, starch content is 15-16%, sugar content is low, and dry matter reaches 23.5%. The taste is very good, without a milky aftertaste, crunchy when raw and tender, slightly sweet after roasting. Karat is resistant to late blight and withstands high air and soil temperatures well, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions.

The variety is characterized by a long testing period and excellent yield qualities: when planted in the ground and kept for more than 100 days, tubers can reach a weight of over 1 kg. Bushes are short but bloom abundantly, ensuring a rich harvest. Storage quality is good, and disease resistance makes it a popular choice among gardeners.
