Agastache FRANT

Spicy Power for Your Garden: The Features of 'Frant'

Lophant (Anise Hyssop) 'Frant' by Gavrish is the top choice for those seeking a balance between aesthetic appeal and practical benefits. While many aromatic herbs require meticulous maintenance, this variety is noted for its impressive growth energy. Reaching a height of 100–140 cm, it forms a robust bush that acts as a powerful magnet for pollinators during the blooming season.

Why Choose This Specific Variety?

• Expressive Profile: The standout feature of 'Frant' is its intense mint-anise aroma. It is not merely a subtle scent, but a rich, essential-oil-packed composition that remains potent even after drying.
• Multifunctionality: Unlike niche crops, this lophant excels in three areas: as a premium honey plant, a medicinal herb, and a savory addition to teas or culinary dishes.
• Dimensions: With its height of 100–140 cm, it serves perfectly not just in garden beds, but as a striking vertical element in mixed flower borders.

Strengths and Considerations

The key advantage of Gavrish's selection is the stability of its genetics, ensuring consistent performance in both aroma and growth cycles. However, it is essential to keep in mind that its vigorous growth requires adequate space. In crowded plantings, 'Frant' may suppress neighboring plants, making it ideal for grouping or placing along the edges of the garden.

This variety is a true find for apiary owners looking to improve honey quality, as well as for herbalists seeking a versatile, aromatic home remedy right from the backyard.
