Description Negus
The Negus eggplant variety belongs to early-maturing types, with a period from seedling transplanting to technical ripeness of 50-65 days. The plant is compact, reaching 45-50 cm in height, with early and simultaneous branching, which promotes the formation of a large number of fruits. Fruits have a round shape with a smooth, shiny, intensely purple skin, with an average weight of 120 to 300 grams, making them convenient for transport and storage.

The flesh of the Negus eggplant is light, very tender, and simultaneously firm, possessing excellent taste qualities. Regular harvesting every 7-8 days helps prolong the vegetation period and increase yield. The yield of this variety is 35 to 70 tons per hectare, which corresponds to 3-6 kg per square meter with proper care.

To achieve maximum quality and marketability of Negus eggplant fruits, agronomic measures are essential, especially during the vegetation period. The plant requires good soil warming and regular watering, which positively affects fruit weight and quality. The early and compact Negus variety is ideal for cultivation in conditions where high yield and product quality are crucial.
