The "Sunny Bloom" aster variety is an early-maturing compact plant of the bouquet type, reaching a height of 55-60 cm. Flowering begins on the 85-88 day after seedling emergence and continues from July to October. Up to 30 double florets with a diameter of 6-7 cm open simultaneously on one plant. The variety is characterized by a change in flower color: at the beginning of flowering, ray florets are twisted into a tube, then open into a boat-shaped form and change color from white to light pink, giving the plant special decorative appeal, especially in an autumn flower garden.
"Sunny Bloom" is suitable for growing on well-lit areas with fertile loamy or loamy-sandy soil. The aster is most often grown by seedling method: seeds are sown in March-April, transplanted when the first pair of true leaves appears with an interval of 5x5 cm, and seedlings are transplanted to open ground from mid-May to early June. Winter sowing at the end of October at a depth of 5-8 cm with subsequent mulching with peat or sawdust is also possible.
This variety of asters is widely used for cutting and decorative landscaping due to abundant and prolonged flowering, as well as attractive color change of flowers. "Sunny Bloom" is ideal for creating bright autumn compositions and is an excellent choice for lovers of annual flowering plants.
