Aster Monarch

Stability as a priority: why professionals choose "Monarch"

The perennial aster variety "Monarch" from the "Kapris" farm is a solution for those seeking a balance between aesthetic appeal and low maintenance. The primary challenge in growing asters is Fusarium wilt, which often ruins a grower's efforts. The breeding of this variety, led by Vyacheslav Vasilyevich Shepelev, is focused on creating a strong immunity against this fungal disease.

Practical use cases

• For commercial cut flowers: The needle-like form and deep blue-violet shades make "Monarch" a sought-after crop for the floral industry. The height of the flower stems (50–80 cm) is perfect for creating florist bouquets, and the density of the flower ensures excellent transportability.
• For landscaping: In farms engaged in professional landscaping, this variety is valued for its winter hardiness. You do not need to plant seedlings annually: the plant successfully overwinters, preserving its root system and vitality for the following season.
• Technological approach: A flower diameter of 5–7 cm allows the plant to look striking in both mass flowerbed plantings and linear rows. The variety does not require complex agrotechnological interventions, which reduces labor costs.

By choosing "Monarch", you get a predictable result: a sturdy perennial that requires no seasonal reseeding and holds its own against the most dangerous pathogens of the crop.
