Aster CUPIDONCHIK

A sunny accent for your garden: the Cupidonchik aster

The "Cupidonchik" aster, produced by the Kapris farm, is a breeding product focused on creating bright, dense color spots in landscape design. Unlike tall cut-flower varieties, this annual relies on its compactness and a precise pompon-shaped bloom.

Why does this variety stand out?

The main strength of this variety is its predictability. Reaching 50–80 cm in height, the plant forms thick, near-perfectly round yellow "balls." This makes it an ideal tool for edging and foreground borders, where visual stability is essential without the plant becoming too bushy or unkempt.

• Structural stability: The plant holds its shape well under the weight of the blooms, which is critical for border plantings.
• Vivid color: A pure, saturated yellow is rare among pompon asters, allowing for striking contrast compositions when paired with blue or purple garden cultures.
• Vegetation cycle: With 90–100 days from sowing to flowering, it acts as a mid-late season player, peaking in beauty just as many early summer plants begin to fade.

Who is the "Cupidonchik" for?

This variety is optimal for gardeners who value graphical precision. If you are planning formal flower beds or looking to zone garden paths, the "Cupidonchik" will be a reliable ally. It is important to remember that this is a classic annual: it does not survive the winter in open ground, requiring fresh sowing each season. Do not expect a strong fragrance, as the breeding focused exclusively on visual perfection of form and resilience to external conditions.
