The anise plant is an annual herb with a stem height of 50–70 cm and a root system penetrating to a depth of about 30 cm. The fruits are two-seeded capsules, usually gray-brown in color, rich in essential oils. For growing this variety, it is recommended to use southern or southeastern plots with tilled, fertilized soil. Optimal doses of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers are 25 mg/m² and 30 mg/m², respectively. Regular watering, soil loosening, and weed control contribute to a good harvest. Harvesting is done when the seed capsules have a greenish tint. If necessary, fungicides are applied to protect against powdery mildew and cercosporosis.
