Shepherd's purse downy mildew

On the underside of these spots, a dense, grayish-violet or white mycelial mat develops, which corresponds to the sporulation of the pathogen.

As the infection progresses, the affected tissue becomes necrotic, leading to the browning, curling, and premature drying of the leaves.

In severe cases, the entire plant may show signs of stunting, and the stems and inflorescences can become distorted.
