Sowing dates
Sowing seeds for Gazania rigens should typically begin in late winter, specifically February or March, to allow sufficient time for the seedlings to develop before the frost-free season arrives.
Use a well-draining, sterile seed-starting mix. The seeds should be lightly covered with a thin layer of fine soil or vermiculite, as they require consistent moisture to germinate effectively.
