ZADEL

ZADEL is a new variety of six-row winter barley, distinguished by very early earing and medium-early ripening. Thanks to rapid recovery of vegetation and effective use of soil moisture reserves, this variety exhibits high drought tolerance, making it especially suitable for cultivation in arid regions. ZADEL is characterized by high tolerance to lodging and stem brittleness, which contributes to a stable yield and ease of harvesting.

The variety belongs to the fodder type and has high protein content — over 12.5%, as well as raw gluten content above 27%. The mass of 1000 seeds ranges from 48 to 50 grams, indicating good quality of seed material. The potential yield of ZADEL ranges from 80 to 120 centners per hectare, making it a profitable choice for agricultural producers focused on obtaining high and stable yields.

To protect barley crops ZADEL from pests, such as grain weevil (weevil-cuckoo), the use of insecticides with active ingredients acetamiprid, bifenthrin, imidacloprid, lambda-cyhalothrin, and others is recommended. Products from various manufacturers, including ADAMA, Himagro M, Syngenta, BASF, and Ukravit, are available in 1, 5, and 10-liter packs. Use of these products allows effective control of pests and ensures crop health throughout the vegetation period.
