Description MIP Dariy
MIP Dariy is an elite medium-maturing winter barley variety, registered in 2018 and belonging to the pallidum type. The vegetation period is 240–250 days, allowing the variety to successfully develop under various climatic conditions. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, exceeding average levels, as well as high resistance to lodging and shattering, rated at 8–9 and 9 points respectively. The 1000-grain weight is 49–51 grams, indicating good grain quality and suitability for grain use.

The MIP Dariy variety is distinguished by high drought resistance, rated 9–10 points, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under conditions of insufficient moisture. Additionally, it exhibits resistance to major barley diseases such as powdery mildew, leaf spot, and dwarf rust, with resistance levels of 6–8 points. The ear type is two-rowed, which contributes to high yield and quality grain.

The genetic yield potential of this variety exceeds 10.5 tons per hectare, confirmed by state qualification trials conducted in various regions of Ukraine, where yields ranged from 7.31 to 9.15 tons per hectare. European selection and high cold resistance make MIP Dariy a promising variety for widespread use in agriculture, ensuring stable and high yields even under adverse climatic conditions.
