KAYLIN — this is a six-row winter barley variety of German origin, developed by Saatzbeht Streng GmbH&Co.KG. This variety is characterized by high and stable yield, reaching 90-100 ц/ha, making it especially attractive for cultivation under various climatic conditions, including extreme ones. KAYLIN belongs to early-maturing varieties, has a stem height of 80-90 cm and a thousand-grain weight of about 50 g. The seeding rate ranges from 2.8 to 5.5 million germinated seeds per hectare, and the protein content in the grain reaches 13.6%. The KAYLIN variety is characterized by high frost resistance and resistance to major barley diseases such as powdery mildew and rust, as well as internal stem pests. Despite its tall stature, the variety exhibits excellent lodging resistance, achieved with minimal use of growth regulators. These qualities ensure stable and high-quality grain production even under drought and adverse weather conditions.
