The Delbarestival apple variety belongs to late-summer and early-summer varieties with a ripening period that begins in mid-to-late August and continues until mid-September. The fruits ripen gradually, which requires 2-3 harvests. The apples have an oval shape and an average weight of 100 to 200 grams. Their color is predominantly yellow with a red-orange or carrot-striped blush. The flesh is dense, crispy, juicy, and tender, with a creamy texture and a balanced sweet-and-sour taste that is aromatic and has dessert qualities. Even unripe fruits have a sweet taste without noticeable acidity.

The Delbarestival variety tree is early-yielding and begins to bear fruit as early as the 2nd-3rd year after planting on a semi-dwarfing rootstock 54-118, although according to some data, fruiting may begin in the 4th-5th year. Adult trees reach a height of up to 3.5 meters. The variety is distinguished by high yield and good fruit transportability, which allows the fruits to maintain their qualities when stored in a refrigerator for up to 3 months. Apples remain on store shelves for a long time without losing taste and commercial characteristics.

To maintain the health and productivity of the tree, regular thinning and rejuvenation pruning is recommended. The variety is prone to fruit drop, so it is not recommended to leave apples on the tree too long. Delbarestival is a winter-hardy variety with moderate resistance to common diseases, which makes it attractive to gardeners seeking to obtain a high-quality and tasty harvest.
