Grizzly is an early Crimson Sweet type watermelon hybrid with a vegetation period of 70-75 days after seedling planting. The fruits of this watermelon are large, oval-shaped, weighing between 12 and 14 kg, corresponding to a B size. The flesh is a rich red color with excellent taste and high sugar content, reaching 10-11 on the Brix scale. Thanks to a powerful root system, the fruits receive quality nutrition, which promotes their attractive appearance and high quality.
Grizzly watermelon is resistant to sunburn and has disease resistance, in particular to Fusarium oxysporum (IR: Fon 0,1). It demonstrates stable yield even under unfavorable growing conditions, making it in demand among traders and manufacturers. The fruits are well-covered with leaves, which additionally protects them and promotes quality preservation.
Grizzly is intended for cultivation in open ground and is aimed at the fresh market. Unified large size and fruit uniformity provide ease of sale and high commercial attractiveness. For rootstock, it is recommended to use luffa, considering the growth characteristics of the hybrid. Seed packaging is available in various volumes, allowing you to choose the optimal option for different planting scales.
