Tulip Lustige Witve is a Triumph group variety distinguished by its striking flower color: dark red petals with white tips create a snow-dusted bud effect. The plant reaches a height of 40 to 60 cm and has a sturdy stem, ensuring flower stability and ease of cutting. Due to its characteristics, this variety is widely used for forcing, cutting, and decorative garden plantings.

Lustige Witve is highly cold-tolerant and suitable for growing in USDA zones 1a to 9a, covering a wide range of climatic conditions. In the coldest regions, winter protection is recommended to preserve the bulbs. The variety is well-adapted to various conditions and exhibits resistance to protective sprays, simplifying care and enhancing the plant’s decorative qualities.

A distinctive feature of this variety is its ability to be forced during the winter, allowing for blooming by New Year’s or Christmas. For successful forcing, use healthy bulbs with a diameter of at least 5 cm. The process includes preparing the soil, planting, and creating optimal conditions with a temperature of 4 to 9 degrees and air humidity of 80-85%.
