Tomato Casta (Supernova) F1 — an ultra-early determinate hybrid from French selection company Clause, designed for obtaining high-quality produce in a short time. The vegetative period is 87–90 days from seed sowing or 60–64 days from transplanting seedlings to the permanent location. Plants are compact, medium height (about 50 cm), with strong stems and dense foliage, ensuring good plant resistance. Up to 10 flower clusters form per season, each containing 4–5 fruits. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and plastic tunnels, as well as in open ground. Tomato Casta fruits have a unique round shape with a characteristic "nose." The average weight of one tomato is 200–260 g. Fruits are firm, rich red in color, with juicy, meaty flesh and a multi-chambered internal structure without a white core. The taste is sweet with a slight acidity, and the aroma is classic tomato, making them suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning, processing, juice, tomato paste, and sauce preparation. The hybrid has high productivity — industrial yield reaches approximately 100 tons per hectare at a planting density of 20,000 plants. Gardeners harvest 4–5 kg of fruit per plant. Casta F1 has good storability and transportability, allowing it to retain its market appearance and quality even during autumn cultivation and in cooler climates. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to common tomato diseases such as fusarium, verticillium wilt, mosaic virus, and tomato wilt virus, ensuring stable yields and reducing the risk of losses.
