TULYANKA ORANGE

Tomato variety "Tulyanka Orange" is a medium-early, high-yielding variety intended for cultivation both in plastic greenhouses and in open ground, primarily in southern regions. The plant is indeterminate, sparsely branched, reaching 140 to 160 cm in height, requiring mandatory staking and pinching to form a single stem. Leaves are medium-sized, green, doubly compound with semi-erect position, and flowers are yellow with short pedicels. For planting, seedlings should be sown in early March, with transplanting at the stage of the first true leaf and planting into greenhouses at the end of May to early June, at a spacing of 40x60 cm. The fruits of tomato "Tulyanka Orange" are large, heart-shaped or egg-shaped, bright orange when fully ripe. Fruit weight ranges from 150 to 300 grams, sometimes reaching 400 grams. The fruits are juicy, slightly ribbed, medium density, low-seeded, with a bright tomato flavor featuring pronounced sweetness and mild acidity, as well as a delicate aroma. Each cluster bears 3 to 6 fruits. Due to their excellent flavor, these tomatoes are ideal for fresh consumption and salad preparation. The variety is characterized by high yield and resistance, making it attractive for both amateur and commercial cultivation using light culture in protected ground. Yield reaches 10.1–12.5 kg per square meter. Seeds retain germination for up to 10 years under proper storage conditions, and it is recommended to increase sowing rates after the expiration of their shelf life.
