Siesta is an early-maturing, high-yielding determinate tomato hybrid intended for cultivation both in open ground and under cover. From germination to the beginning of fruit ripening, it takes 95-100 days. The plant is compact, lightly leafed, and reaches a height of 70-80 cm. The first flower cluster forms above the 6th-7th leaf, and subsequent clusters appear every 1-2 leaves. Inflorescences can be simple, semi-complex, or complex, with up to 15 fruits per cluster. The fruits have a cylindrical shape with a slight point, weigh 60-70 g, and are bright orange in color due to high beta-carotene content.

Siesta tomatoes have excellent flavor qualities, making them an excellent choice for fresh consumption as well as for whole-fruit canning. The hybrid is resistant to major tomato diseases, contributing to stable and high yields. Recommended planting density is 3-4 plants per square meter, with plant formation on 3-4 stems. Yield in open ground exceeds 15 kg per square meter, while in protected ground it can reach up to 20 kg per square meter.
