Sentosa

Tomato Sentosa F1 is an early determinate hybrid developed by the Dutch breeding company Seminis. This variety is suitable for cultivation both in open fields and in plastic greenhouses, demonstrating high adaptability and tolerance to growing conditions and agronomic practices. The plant is low-growing and densely leafed, promoting abundant fruit set even under unfavorable climatic conditions. Sentosa exhibits high resistance to fungal and viral diseases of solanaceous crops, ensuring a stable yield.

The fruits are oval or round-rectangular in shape, intensely red in color, with dense, juicy, and fleshy flesh without a white core. The average fruit weight ranges from 80 to 120 grams, making them convenient for various uses. The flavor is distinctly sweet and pleasant, appreciated both for fresh consumption and processing. The tomato has high transportability and good keeping quality during storage.

The technical maturity period of the fruits is 85 to 100 days after emergence, classifying Sentosa as an early-maturing hybrid. Yield in plastic greenhouses reaches 7.2–10.5 kg per square meter. This variety is suitable for fresh markets, canning, pickling, freezing, and juice production. It is suitable for both manual and mechanical harvesting, simplifying agronomic processes and increasing cultivation efficiency.
