Description Mogami
Tomato Mogami is a medium-early indeterminate hybrid with a vigorous plant and short internodes. Plants are tall, reaching about 1.5 meters in height, with horizontally arranged leaves and rapid flower cluster development. Fruits are round-oval in shape, smooth and glossy, medium density, weighing from 140 to 400 grams depending on growing conditions. At biological maturity, they develop a pink color on a yellow background, giving them an attractive bicolor appearance. The taste qualities of the fruits are high; they are juicy and sweet, making this variety suitable for fresh consumption, salads, vegetable ragouts, and tomato juice.

Mogami exhibits high resistance to various diseases, including fusarium wilt, tomato mosaic virus, tip and root rot, brown spot, and verticillium wilt. The plant also shows resilience to adverse conditions such as drought, frost, and stress factors, contributing to stable yield and fruit quality. The yield of this variety reaches 6 kg per square meter. It is recommended to form clusters of 5 fruits for optimal development and harvest. Fruits can be harvested either in clusters or individually.

This tomato is suitable for cultivation under various conditions, including winter greenhouses and extended light-culture rotations. It tolerates high temperatures well and does not drop fruit, ensuring excellent commercial quality and good post-harvest storage properties. Additionally, the variety contributes to ecological soil purification from technogenic pollution, making it attractive for eco-oriented agriculture.
