Tomato Sandra F1 — an early indeterminate hybrid developed by the French company Clause Seeds. This variety is distinguished by its large fruit size and unusual flattened-round shape with a characteristic nipple. The fruits are a deep red color, ribbed, firm, and not prone to cracking. The average weight of tomatoes is 320–350 grams, with some specimens weighing over 600 grams. The flesh is juicy with a pronounced super-sweet taste, making this variety especially attractive for fresh consumption, in salads and smoothies, as well as for processing into tomato products. The plant has a strong bush with sturdy stems and short internodes. In greenhouse conditions, the height of the bush reaches up to 2 meters, while in open ground — about 1 meter. Each cluster forms 3–4 fruits. The variety is resistant to spring frosts, heat, and most common diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, verticillium wilt, fusarium wilt, and gall nematodes. Due to its low maintenance requirements and good adaptability to poor soils, Sandra F1 does not require intensive fertilization, but positively responds to potassium-phosphorus mineral fertilizers. The ripening period of the tomato is 60–65 days after transplanting seedlings, allowing it to be grown throughout the season. The variety is suitable for cultivation both in covered ground (heated and unheated greenhouses) and in open ground, where plant support is recommended. Yield reaches 22 kg per square meter. The fruits have good storability and transportability, making this variety popular for fresh markets and processing.
