Tomato RIZOTTA

Strategic choice for the pink tomato market

"Risotta" is designed for growers who prioritize consistent, large-caliber fruits for the fresh produce sector. As an indeterminate variety, it is engineered for efficient vertical cultivation in greenhouses, delivering a concentrated, high-volume harvest in under 90 days. Its rapid maturation cycle is a strategic advantage for capturing early-season market pricing.

Agronomic resilience and productivity

The core strength of the Risotta hybrid is its robust genetic profile. Built-in resistance to Verticillium wilt, Tomato Mosaic Virus, Fusarium wilt, and Cladosporium provides a solid buffer against common pathogens, drastically reducing the need for aggressive chemical interventions. In a commercial setting, this variety produces uniform, flat-round fruits weighing over 200 grams, which remain resistant to cracking even under fluctuating greenhouse conditions.

Logistics and commercial durability

For operations supplying retail chains or distant regional markets, Risotta minimizes the risk of post-harvest loss. The structural integrity of the fruit ensures excellent transportability, while its impressive shelf life of over 30 days provides critical operational flexibility, allowing growers to hold product for better market conditions without compromising quality or appearance.
