RED SUGAR

Red Sugar — a medium-ripening salad tomato variety, intended for cultivation in greenhouses and under plastic coverings. The plant is indeterminate, tall, reaching up to 1.5–1.8 meters in height, ensuring a prolonged fruiting period. The bushes are highly resistant to diseases and drought, and require staking to prevent lodging. Suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and open ground with support. The fruits are round, meaty, with a rich sweet flavor and honey notes. Skin color varies from bright red to reddish-brown, flesh is dark pink and juicy. Fruit weight ranges from 80 to 250 grams, making them convenient for fresh consumption and culinary use. High yield reaches 6–7 kg per square meter or up to 15 kg per plant, indicating the variety’s productivity. Red Sugar is recommended for fresh consumption, salads, and slicing, as well as for processing into juices and tomato products. Due to its rich flavor and juicy flesh, it is excellent for home cooking and dish decoration. Seed sowing is performed in March, and seedling transplanting into the ground occurs in May, enabling a stable and high-quality harvest throughout the season.
