RED DOMES

The tomato 'Red Domes' is an early-maturing hybrid with a vegetation period of 90–95 days, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. The plant is determinate, medium-height, reaching about 60–70 cm, with a spreading bush shape that requires staking and pruning to 1–2 stems. The bushes are moderately leafy, highly productive, and disease-resistant, making this variety attractive for various growing conditions, including greenhouses and temporary plastic coverings. Tomato fruits have a round-oval shape with a characteristic elongated tip, bright red color, and dense glossy skin. Fruit weight averages 140–150 g, sometimes reaching up to 300 g. The flesh is juicy, succulent, with a pleasant tomato aroma and mild acidity, containing a moderate number of seed chambers. Fruits ripen well, withstand heat treatment, transportation, and long-term storage without loss of quality. The 'Red Domes' variety is ideal for salads and versatile culinary use. Recommended planting scheme: 70x40 cm for open ground and 40x60 cm for greenhouses. Sowing for seedlings is conducted at the end of March – beginning of April, with transplanting in the seedling stage at the first true leaf, and transplanting into the ground at the end of May – beginning of June. Seeds retain viability up to 10 years with proper storage, enabling their use for industrial year-round cultivation using light cultivation in protected ground.
