Tomato PREZIOSO

Tomato Prezioso F1 — an early indeterminate cherry-type hybrid developed by the Italian seed company Esasem. The plant is tall, reaching up to two meters in height and requires mandatory staking, which allows efficient space utilization during cultivation. The hybrid is adaptable to various conditions, successfully cultivated both in open ground and in protected environments, including greenhouses. Thanks to its strong root system and heat tolerance, Prezioso F1 maintains fruit set even during prolonged hot periods, ensuring a stable and consistent yield. The fruits of tomato Prezioso F1 have a classic round cherry shape, bright red color, and an average weight of 15 to 30 grams, depending on growing conditions. They exhibit high uniformity in size and weight per cluster, facilitating harvesting both individually and in clusters. The tomatoes are juicy and slightly sweet in taste, with a small seed count and covered by a thin but dense skin that prevents cracking during harvest, transport, and whole-fruit canning. The high fruit shelf life allows them to maintain freshness and quality for a long time. The Prezioso F1 hybrid exhibits high resistance to a broad spectrum of solanaceous diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, verticillium wilt, fusarium wilt, gall nematode, and leaf spot virus. This makes it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions. Tomatoes are widely used in culinary applications: consumed fresh, used in salads, as garnishes, and also for pickling and canning. Due to its qualities and versatility, Prezioso F1 is an excellent solution for obtaining an early and high-quality cherry tomato harvest.
