PINK CASCADE

The Pink Cascade tomato variety is a medium-early, high-yielding indeterminate type with a long fruiting period. Plants are tall, reaching 1.6–1.8 meters in greenhouses, and are suitable for cultivation under temporary plastic covers or in open ground with mandatory support on stakes. It is recommended to form the plant into 2–3 stems with removal of suckers to ensure better growth and yield. The first flower cluster forms low, above the 6th–8th leaf, and subsequent clusters appear every 1–3 leaves.

The fruits of the Pink Cascade tomato are pink in color and plum-shaped, weighing from 15 to 90 grams, with 10 or more fruits per cluster. They are smooth, firm, do not crack, and have an excellent juicy, sweet taste. Due to their flavor and dense structure, these tomatoes are ideal for fresh consumption, salad preparation, drying, canning, freezing, and whole-fruit preservation.

The variety is resistant to major tomato diseases, including verticillium wilt, fusarium, as well as blossom and root rot. Yield in greenhouses reaches 6.8–7.0 kg per square meter. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in early March, with transplanting at the first true leaf stage, and planting in greenhouses in May at a spacing of 40x60 cm. Seeds retain germination for up to 10 years under optimal storage conditions, though it is recommended to increase the seeding rate after the expiration of the shelf life.
