Zlatava

The Zlatava tomato is a mid-season indeterminate variety suitable for cultivation in greenhouses, polytunnels, and open ground, particularly in southern regions. The plant reaches a height of approximately 1.5-2 meters and has a cluster-type fruiting pattern, producing 6-7 tomatoes per cluster. This variety is resistant to most common tomato diseases, including fusarium, making it a reliable choice for gardeners.

The fruits of the Zlatava variety have a round, slightly rectangular, and slightly ribbed shape, weighing between 80 to 100 grams. Their exterior color is exceptionally orange, while the flesh inside is a rich pink-red or red-orange. The tomatoes have a high sugar content, giving them a sweet and pleasant taste, especially when eaten fresh, for example, in salads. Thanks to their dense flesh, the fruits do not crack during canning and retain an attractive appearance even when slightly overripe.

For successful cultivation, seedlings aged 45-60 days are recommended. The Zlatava variety is suitable for both fresh consumption and canning, thanks to its resistance to cracking and dense flesh. These characteristics make it versatile and convenient to use, ensuring a steady harvest of high-quality, flavorful tomatoes.
