Tomato Nikos

Tomato NIKOS is a medium-ripening salad hybrid with a determinate growth type, intended for cultivation in open fields. Plants are vigorous, reaching heights of 1.5 to 2 meters, and form more than 10 fruit clusters. The fruits are round-oval in shape with a characteristic 'nose', dense and meaty, colored in a rich dark red. Average fruit weight varies from 40-50 g to 270-300 g depending on growing conditions and descriptions, indicating versatility in application.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major tomato diseases, including nematodes, verticillium, fusarium, tomato mosaic virus, and yellow dwarf virus. This ensures a stable and high yield, reaching 737 to 1063 centners per hectare with a marketable fruit output of up to 75%. Plants consistently set fruit even under extreme conditions, making this variety a reliable choice for various climatic zones.

Tomato NIKOS fruits are distinguished by their excellent market appearance: they are dense, meaty, without cracks, spots, or signs of rot. Their sweet taste and excellent keeping quality allow them to be used both for fresh consumption and for canning and tomato paste production.
